![]() I did not understand what this sentence means: can someone explain it to a casual player like I am?Ĥ) In the Gear page it is written: "On the topic of jewelry, aim for as perfect of an elemental amulet as you can". Moreover, in the speed farming variation page, "Life per Fury Spent" is swapped with "Vitality" in the table of stat priorities for Immortal King's Boulder Breaker (5th and 6th places of the list): why?ģ) In the Gear page, when talking about the rings, it is written: "The base damage increase of the armor sets.". And is Vitality really more important than the not-even-mentioned "Area Damage" (a recommended stat on many other item slots)? Why Vitality? The table of stat priorities lists "% Weapon Damage" and "Life per Fury Spent" before Vitality, which being the 6th affix in the list should be out of a perfectly rolled weapon (in contradiction with the quoted text). Some minor corrections and clarifications to make the guide more complete and coherent (for new and casual players expecially):ġ) The "Top Tier" label is only for the main build (with Furious Charge) or also for the two spender-dominant specs (Ancient Spear and Seismic Slam)?Ģ) In the Gear page it written: "high damage range, good Strength and Call of the Ancients %, as well as Vitality are the desired stats on the Immortal King's Boulder Breaker". This means you get roughly 45 (assuming 150 max fury) seconds off the wrath of the berserker and call of the ancients cooldowns per use rather than 6 or so seconds. ![]() If I understand correctly, the main reason for running boulder toss is to minimize your time not using furious charge, because boulder toss expends all of your fury at once, rather than in chunks. To be clear I'm not saying swapping the two is giving me higher grs, that is mostly lucky gear drops, this guide (props), and the RotRG season, allowing me to use F/R instead of CoE. ![]() ![]() Is there abother reason to use BT over rumble? (Cast or animation time, worthwhile area damage proc, etc?) I understand boulder toss does more damage, but if I'm using it mainly as a fury dump I prefer to use rumble that will hit enemies 100% of the time, proccing my focus/restraint vs BT only hitting 75% or less. This season I'm at 96 5 days in, after swapping out boulder toss for rumble. Making it super weak despite effectively resetting cooldowns that can be reset by fury spending. So I've been enjoying playing this build (6IK, 4R) for the past few seasons, not pushing with it because I'm not good enough to use CoE to the fullest effect, but enjoying it in GR 70-85. The 15% or 20% per fury point weapon damage is flat and fixed or gaining almost no increase from multipliers in general. TLDR conclusion, rumble and boulder gain 0 benefit off Earth 6 10k% damage increase, or nearly 0. Still unusable vs the onslaughter mode of stagger seismic. So I also tried cube of the dagger with 100% crit chance against a full hp target. The ring broken promise also doesn’t seem useful, I never saw it activate the 3 second 100% crit chance, which I wanted to test with boulder and rumble, to find out if having a sure crit with the attack would make it definitive and strategic. For background this is my first season, I didn’t buy the expansion till the most recent holiday sale. I’m at rift 85 right now and haven’t augmented anything yet, paragon almost to 600 with 62 hours into the season gameplay. If the reason it excels so much is that the crits pile up and become really highly multiplied as I’m spamming the fast attack, then the istvan setup for sure will be the best choice deeper in the rift challenge level. I am going to add the gogok of swiftness and continue testing the 4ik bonus vs the speed and damage benefit of the istvan’s blades. It’s getting a lot of opportunities to roll critical. Because the stagger rune lets the build run like a Gatling gun, seismic SPAM, and with the pain enhancer gem and +500% added crit damage it deals way more damage than rumble, just benchmarking it vs Uber bosses and rift70. My guess is the 2nd one, meaning these two abilities have no real usage for the set high level build options. There is either some kind of limit, where it would actually benefit you to not dump the whole 150 fury but to spend it at certain amounts like 60, or a cap that is causing the set multiplier to simply not function on these. What still doesn’t make sense is trying to use boulder toss or seismic rumble which both spend the rest of your fury for +damage per point. In my build I have stacked up +crit damage from when I was using 6 ik hammer of the ancients, but I recently tried 6 earth because I saw it had +10,000% dmg on a lot of abilities and seemed appealing over the 4000 on IK berserker bonus. ![]()
