![]() ![]() First of all your not alone, I am going in the same boat although my waters went at around 24 weeks and I'm now 28 and counting it's tough but there's is always hope doctors are just human beings if it's meant to be it will be no matter what and everyday that goes by and your baby is holding on is a bonus. Hi Daniella,so sorry to hear your going through pprom as well. ![]() The baby has been given less than 5% chance but there is still a pocket of 1cm and so i am hoping and praying that there could still be a chance!!?!ĭoes anyone have a similar story that has turn out ok or am i just clutching at straws? I just keep thinking if i can get to 24 weeks there could be a real chance!? The other problem i face is that i am currently in Dubai and need to get back the UK asap, so really worried about flying as meant to be stay laid down.We have our home in Cheshire so have been told that the best hospital to specialise is this kind of thing is Liverpool Womens?Īny advise would be be gratefully received!! TIA I am on strong antibiotics to stop any infection which seem to be working. Im having a scan on Monday to see if the baby is still developing right as the doctors have already said i should have have a termination as the baby will not grow/develop properly without the amniotic fluid. Hi there, I found out at 17 weeks i had lost all my amniotic fluids due to PPROM, I have been on complete bed rest and drinking between 6 and 8 litres of fluid a day for the past 2 weeks (I am now nearly 19 weeks) I have studied the web continuously and found that drinking coconut water, gatorade, Pear juice and now the new one i'm trying the knox gelatine trick (basically drinking unflavoured gelatine crystals in juice). ![]()
